Why is my Overtime Widget not updating?

Widgets refresh dynamically based on iOS system resources. If your OT hasn't updated, simply open the main app and navigate to the ESS tab to force a background sync.

Is my ESS password safe?

Yes. Your credentials are locked inside the iOS Keychain, the exact same hardware-level encryption Apple uses to protect your saved credit cards and WiFi passwords.
